With the second issue of American MILF coming to a close, I thought I could give a bit of insight as to the process of how the comic came to be.  Obviously the first thing that had to happen before the first issue came out was Moose asking me if I would be interested in working on an American Dad parody comic for DirtyComics. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant since I do a lot of American Dad parody stuff already, most notably my long running and ongoing comic “The American Wet Dream.” I didn’t really want to become the “American Dad guy” and I didn’t want to get burnt out on some of the characters I enjoy drawing a great deal.

One simple thing sold me on saying yes… this comic would focus on Francine and her sexual adventures.
The other things I have done with American Dad characters started off focusing on Francine, but expanded to cover the whole family and quickly became an excuse to draw as many characters from the show, especially the other sexy ladies. So the amount of pages where I got to draw my favorite cartoon MILF became fewer and farther between. This new comic would give me a chance to draw my favorite lady getting down and dirty.

The fact that I got to write the script was also a huge benefit. This meant that I got to tell the stories I wanted and make sure I had the visuals I wanted to see on the page. Before I even knew about Moose’s absolute obsession with asses, I had turned in a script detailing Francine getting pounded in the ass by her husband’s boss (see issue 1).  As you will no doubt have seen in issue two, this awakens desires within her long since buried and a yearning for big cocks in her ass.

It should not be a shocker that my love for gaping anal comics comes from my mutual love of gaping anal porn videos. You can always get my opinion, and sometimes we interview pros too. But for a change, how about we talk to a fan? Let me introduce you to Gapefan. I first ran into Gapefan in the Jay Sin forum and I learned quickly he has excellent taste in porn. Moose: I have been an ass man for my whole life. I respect beauty in all its forms but there’s just something special to me about a great ass. Somewhere in my early porn watching years the gals who did anal were the ones who got my attention. From then on, I’ve been hooked. Do you remember when your love of anal porn started?

GapeFan:  I’m a lot like you in that respect. I’ve always appreciated the female form, but I have always been drawn most to women asses.  Even before I could get my hands on real porn, I was honing in on them in the Swimsuit Edition of Sports Illustrated.  Basically anything with great shots of women’s booty that I could get my hands on.  I love tits too!  But, there’s just something magical about a woman’s curvaceous ass.  I think my first exposure to great anal porn was Jean-Yves LeCastel’s ‘Assman’ series.  Particularly numbers 6 and 12.  I remember there was a scene in each of those that I must have watched several hundred times as a young man.  The one that really sealed the deal for me though, was Tom Byron’s Planet of the Gapes 3.  There’s a scene in that moview with Charlie Angel that I fell in love with!  That girl could gape!  I was in awe.  Pretty much dumbstruck!  Ever since then, it’s been a life long passion.

GapeFan: Well as I mentioned, Charlie Angel was the first to make such an impression on me as far as gaping is concerned.  I was also really infatuated with Tiffany Mynx.  Still am really!  She has such a great ass!  So curvy.  I absolutely love it!  In more recent years, the girl that has impressed me the most is definitely Alysa Gap.  Seeing her in Giorgio Grandi’s films from the now defunct website, NoRestNetwork, as well as in Jay Sin’s films over at Evil Angel, was a life changing experience!  It was like seeing Charlie Angel again for the first time.  Only this time the gape had multiplied immensely!  I’ve followed her career religiously ever since.  There are others of course.  Isabella Clark, Roxy Raye, Proxy Paige, Linda Sweet, Arwen Gold, among others.

Moose: A lot of factors make a porn scene “good”. My number one measuring tool in determining this is gaping. There’s just something unbelievably sexy and erotic about a gaping female asshole. The only thing I can rationalize is a big gape is a testament to great anal sex maybe. I don’t know, I just love them. Do you enjoy gaping in your porn? What do like or not like about it?

After looking at the fabulous art of The Pit all morning yesterday I felt it was only natural that I pay homage to him in my sketch this morning. I mainly wanted to draw Morena incorporating a fit midsection with those Pit style buns and thighs. This was a fun little experiment but I originally made her even more fit and muscular looking which I don’t think works for her design. I probably should have drawn Cammi because the added muscles would have fit her better. Morena has that ghetto booty though.

Maybe if you were born in a barn or raised in the wilderness by wolves with no Internet connection, you may not have seen the artwork of The Pit. As one of the most pirated and copied artists online, maybe you’ve seen his work but may not know him by name. He just started his own Patreon but most people know him as a major contributor on JohnPersons.com. I’ve always adored his art but I never really looked at his work closely until I too started contributing to Persons’ site. Here’s a list of the top seven things I learned from The Pit’s art.

1. Abs and Bubble Butt.

I generally draw my women pretty curvey and when my characters have big butts (think Kelsi Monroe) I rarely ever give a defined midsection. NOT The Pit! He taught me a girl looks damn fantastic rocking washboard abs AND a bubble butt.

2. Make it Shiny.

In my porn comics there’s always some kind of oil, saliva, or body fluid going on so I’m not shy with glossy skin surfaces but The Pit takes it to a new level. It’s not about just making something “shiny”, it’s about contrast. And in art, contrast is good.

3. Tongue Tied

I used think of the tongue as a static part of the mouth that just kinda sits there if it’s not being directly used. Kinda like if you’re jerking off with your right hand, your left hand may not be doing much. The Pit uses the tongue as a flexible organic element that does just as much as any other area of the mouth. Especially if she’s giving great head.

4. Butt Shadows

How do you “sell” a big ass in a picture? Great shadows. Without strong shadows the booty will come across less spherical. If it’s drawn well you can pull it off but shadows help seal the deal.

5. Big Tits, Small Waist.

This seems obvious. I draw big tits with small waists all the time, right? If you look at most of The Pit’s big tit girls, he draws them with a natural weight (the art term, not their body weight) that makes their jugs look believable and natural.

6. Cock Rhythm

When doing panels or storyboarding, there are a lot of ways to establish rhythm. Rhythm is meant to direct the eye of the reader, establish a flow, and make your panels interesting. The Pit sometimes uses cocks to do this. Often I would focus on one dick and foreshorten or down right omit the other schlongs in the panel. When I saw The Pit use this, it blew my mind. It’s Genius.

7. Copious Spit

Even though I love sloppy, nasty, drooly, blowjobs, I used to rarely draw them. The Pit is not shy to dehydrate a bitch to illustrate the best blow jobs in the world. Therefore, don’t be afraid to make it wet, and nasty.
